The River is Calling. Will you Answer?

West Virginia Weekend

April 10-12, 2026 | Limited to 15 Participants | Registration Open Now

Winter has been too long. Your gear is dry, your paddle is gathering dust, and you are itching to get back on the water. But let’s be honest, planning a multi-day trip is a hassle. Between coordinating shuttles, finding affordable lodging near Deep Creek, and figuring out how to feed a hungry crew, the logistics can kill the vibe before you even get wet.

Stop planning and start paddling. We have taken care of the heavy lifting so you can focus on the line.

We are heading to Deep Creek, MD for a premier weekend of whitewater action. We’ve secured a comfortable basecamp (courtesy of Nick B’s family), we’ve planned the meals, and we’ve scouted the river options.

All you have to do is show up.

Choose Your Adventure

We know that "whitewater" means different things to different paddlers. To ensure everyone gets the best time on the water, we are splitting into two dedicated squads, each with a designated Trip Lead.

Option A: The Scenic Thrill Seekers (Class II-III)

Perfect for those looking to knock the rust off, enjoy the scenery, and hit some fun, splashy lines without the consequence.

  • The Menu: Cheat Narrows, Lower Yough, Dry Fork of the Cheat, or the Casselman.

  • The Vibe: Fun, flowy, and technical enough to keep you engaged.

Option B: The Adrenaline Chasers (Class III-IV)

Ready to charge? This group is hunting for volume, gradients, and technical challenges.

  • The Menu: Cheat Canyon, Buckhannon, Lower Big Sandy, Kitzmiller, or Upper Big Sandy.

  • The Vibe: High-octane paddling for those ready to dial in their focus.

(Note: River selection for both groups will depend on water levels on the day of the trip.)

We aren't trying to make a profit; we’re trying to make memories. We have bundled lodging and food into a flat rate that costs less than a single night at a budget motel.

Price: $45 Flat Rate (Whether you stay one night or the whole weekend)

Here is what that $45 buys you:

  • Lodging: A roof over your head at our Deep Creek basecamp (Nick B's relative's house). No sleeping on the wet ground.

  • Fuel for the River: We are providing hearty, casserole-style/bulk meals to keep your energy high.

    • Saturday & Sunday: Breakfast provided.

    • Saturday Night: Full group dinner provided.

    • Snacks: Group snacks included for downtime.

Because we are staying at a private residence to keep costs low, space is our only bottleneck.

This trip is strictly limited to 15 paddlers.

There are no exceptions. Once the 15th spot is claimed, the roster is locked. Based on previous trips, we expect these spots to fill up quickly.

Don't be the one hearing the stories on Monday morning. Be the one telling them.
